(January 24) The Met.ro would transform the existing railway line Roma-Lido in Metro by 2010. In two years, 19 former line trains refurbished to the most recent addition to the six already in service can be used on this route providing a frequency of 5 minutes during peak hours and allowing a doubling of passengers carried. By February, also will come from the region of € 24.5 million which will serve to strengthen the power supply, upgrading plants and signaling information, build the new bus stop in South Acilia and install noise barriers.
